Net-m links Sun to direct carrier billing for Google Play

Digitel Mobile Philippines (DMPI), via its mobile brand Sun, has selected NTT Docomo's subsidiary net mobile (net-m) to implement Google Carrier Billing integration. Net-m has already deployed the service at Sun's sister company Smart Communications. Sun and Smart are both owned by the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT). Leveraging the newly implemented direct carrier billing platform, Sun customers can now download paid apps, digital books, local e-magazine titles and e-pins without a credit card anytime, anywhere.
