NetByNet introduces dual-band set-top boxes

Russian regional ISP NetByNet, a subsidiary of mobile operator Megafon, has started selling Wifire TV set-top boxes, which work over both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Work over the 5 GHz band enables maximum Wi-Fi speeds and to stabilise the quality of pay-TV services. The monthly rental rate of the WiFire HD 102W Plus device totals RUB 90. The rate totals RUB 5,000 when buying the set-top box.
