Netcity Telecom gets right to provide terrestrial networks

Netcity Telecom, which is part of the Romanian group UTI and which received the concession for Bucharest's underground fibre network from Bucharest City Hall, was given the right on 22 November to provide public terrestrial networks with access to fixed points or with limited mobility by local telecom regulator Ancom, writes local publication Hotnews.ro citing Ancom. So far, Netcity has rented its underground infrastructure to operators for them to build their own networks and install fibre optic cables to provide internet services.
