NetCologne announces G.fast plans at Anga Com

German regional operator NetCologne is planning to introduce G.fast technology, offering data speeds of up to 1 Gbps, teltarif.de reports. Horst Schmitz, the company's Head of Technology, said at Anga Com that there will be an exchange of technology in buildings where there is already a fibre connection to the cellar. He did not disclose a schedule for the upgrade.
