NetCom to provide 3.2 mln people with LTE coverage in Q1

TeliaSonera's Norwegian unit NetCom said it will provide 3.2 million people in Norway with 4G coverage in the first quarter of 2014. Within five years, NetCom's LTE coverage will be 98 percent of the population. This follows the recent frequency auction, in which it acquired 20-year licences for airwaves in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 900 MHz bands.
