Neterra prevents 5.5 times more DDoS attacks in first 9 months of 2021

Bulgaria's Neterra said it prevented 5.5 times more DDoS attacks on its customers in the first nine months of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020. This is an increase of 454 percent, according to data from the monitoring system of the company's DDoS services. From the beginning of January to the end of September 2021, Neterra stopped a total of 873,407 attacks on its customers, up from 157,474 in the same period in 2020. The growth of DDoS attacks in 2021 against financial institutions and organisations is even higher - 6.5 times or 551 percent year-on-year.
