Netflix gets GBP 174,000 UK tax rebate, pays no corporation tax

Netflix received a EUR 199,000 (GBP 174,000) tax rebate from the UK Government in 2017, reports The Guardian. It also paid no corporation tax. The rebate was paid because Netflix made 'War Machine' starring Brad Pitt in the UK, with the government offering a tax credit scheme for film and TV production in the UK.
