NetNod makes 400 GE ports available at Stockholm and Copenhagen IX

Nordic interconnection service provider Netnod said that 400 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) ports are now available at its Internet Exchanges (IXs) in Stockholm and Copenhagen. This makes Netnod the first IX anywhere in the world to have deployed 400GE ports at multiple IX locations. Since 2016, customer demand for 100GE ports at the Netnod IXs has increased year on year by around 25 percent. Netnod said it has made significant investments in the last two years to build a scalable DWDM platform to accommodate significant increases in capacity and to provide customers with a range of connection
