Nevion wins Syn order for broadcasting production system for new premises

Nevion, a Norwegian provider of virtualised media production services, said that Icelandic company Syn has has deployed an IP product from Nevion for its new facilities in Reykjavik, in collaboration with local system integrator Exton. Rather than transfer the existing SDI production network infrastructure to the new premises, Syn opted for a new IP media network. The production equipment, such as cameras, video and audio mixers, are still based on SDI.
