New AirtelTigo CEO takes office

Mitwa Kaemba Ng'ambi assumed the role of CEO for AirtelTigo on 25 June. Ng'ambi has a strong track-record in the telecommunications industry gained over a decade of developing high-performing teams and driving significant increases in profitability across operations in Africa. She was the CEO of Tigo Senegal prior to taking on her role as AirtelTigo CEO. She has previously served in various executive roles at MTN in Benin and Airtel in Zambia.
