New Chilean law puts an end to exclusive telecom providers in buildings

Chile's telecommunications regulator Subtel has announced the entry into force of a new law that puts an end to monopolistic activities in the provision of telecommunications services to apartment blocks and condominiums. Under the new regulation, real estate companies won't be allowed to reach exclusive contracts with telecommunications providers, restricting the choice of residents.
