New Mexico Attorney General accuses Google of gathering kids data via Chromebook laptops

New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas filed a lawsuit against Alphabet's Google search engine, accusing that the company is using its educational software from sold Chromebook laptops to gather young students' personal information without the required parental consent, Reuters reported. Google dismissed the allegations, deeming them "factually wrong." The company didn't want to provide more details.
