New Norwegian rules on laying ducts under roads enter force in 2018

The Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communication has announced changes to regulations, in order to make it easier and cheaper to lay electricity and broadband cables. The aim is to improve digitisation rates in Norway. Excavation costs make up 70 percent to 80 percent of laying broadband on public roadways, it said.
