New standardised legal document to boost London broadband

Tuesday 26 July 2016 | 14:10 CET | News
International law firm Olswang and the City of London Corporation have worked together to produce a new standardised legal document to speed up the process for businesses to get superfast broadband. They worked with the City's main developers, landlords, broadband operators, property managers, government, key trade associations and other law firms to produce a standardised wayleave agreement for fixed line installations. The new Digital Infrastructure Wayleave Agreement will see businesses' waiting time for superfast broadband installation reduced from as much as a year to a few weeks.
