New Zealand launches .nz domain name registration option

The .nz Domain Name Commission has introduced a new .nz domain name registration option. Shorter, simpler, more representative names directly at .nz can now be registered. For example, anyname.nz can now be registered, in addition to .co.nz, .org.nz, .maori.nz etc. Registering one of these shorter .nz names is called registering directly at the second level.
