New Zealand passes 100,000 UFB connections milestone

New Zealand Communications Minister Amy Adams has announced that the 100,000th user has signed up to the government's Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) network. New Zealand started the rollout of its UFB network four and a half years ago. The Minister also said that, currently, around one-in-seven customers in coverage areas are connected. UFB connections have grown 10-fold over the past two years.
