New Zealand PC market bounces back in Q3 with 2% growth

Tuesday 18 December 2018 | 15:07 CET | News
New Zealand PC shipments returned to growth in Q3 due to commercial notebook shipments driven by Windows 10 PC refreshes and vendors stocking up in expectation of a worldwide shortage of Intel processors, according to research company IDC. Shipments rose 1.6 percent year-on-year in Q3 to 168,000. This market growth was a reversal of the previous three quarters, which all recorded a decline in PC shipments. Commercial shipments grew 13.2 percent year-on-year.
