Friday 1 June 2018 | 07:23 CET | News
New Zealand Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) has announced that over 300 submissions were received for the 5G discussion document on the RSM website. This follows a technical consultation for preparing for 5G in New Zealand. According to the RSM, the majority of submissions addressed two issues, namely the future of the 600 MHz band and the potential health effects of 5G technology. The remaining submissions covered a wide range of issues. RSM will be providing advice to the Minister of Broadcasting, Communications and Digital Media over the coming weeks and months.
