NextDC to open new data centres in Brisbane and Melbourne

Australian data centre operator NextDC announced that it will develop two new data centres in Brisbane and Melbourne, adding up to 31MW of IT load capacity to its national network over time. The new data centre facility planned for Brisbane (B2) is expected to have an initial capacity of 1MW+ with a target total capacity of approximately 6MW, while the Melbourne site (M2) will have an initial capacity of 2MW+ with a target total capacity of approximately 25MW.
