Nextel and Vivo to expand roaming deal to include 4G

The data roaming agreement between Brazilian operators Nextel and Vivo will be expanded beyond 3G and take 4G into account throughout the country, according to Nextel CEO Roberto Rittes, reports Teletime. Although not officially announced, the roll-out of 4G roaming is already taking place at some locations, such as Sao Paulo and Sorocaba. However, Rittes revealed that the whole of Brazil will be included by the end of the week.
