Nextel moves to positive OIBDA in Q3, to step up capital investment

NII Holdings, the parent company of mobile operator Nextel Brasil, ended the third quarter of 2018 with operating revenues of USD 142 million, down 31 percent from a year earlier following the shutdown of its iDen network. Cost reductions helped drive positive adjusted OIBDA of USD 12.8 million, compared to a loss of USD 27.3 million a year ago.
