Nexttel launches TV app for offline viewing in Cameroon

Cameroon's third mobile operator Nexttel, a subsidiary of Vietnamese telecoms group Viettel, announced the launch of a new TV app on 17 August, available for Android and iOS devices. Once downloaded, the Nexttel TV app allows users to view content without the need of an internet connection, unlike the operator's other TV app, Mobitv, which relies on online viewing. Nexttel TV offers three content packages, each available on three time-based tariffs (daily, weekly and monthly).
