NFC Forum adopts new specs on data transfers

The NFC Forum announced the publication of one candidate and two adopted specifications, following approval by the Board of Directors. Available from the NFC Forum website, the specifications enhance the performance and security of NFC services. The new candidate specification, Connection Handover Candidate Technical Specification 1.4 defines the structure and sequence of interactions that enable two NFC devices to establish a connection using other wireless communication technologies, such as Bluetooth or WLAN. The adopted specifications are Verb RTD 1.0 Technical Specification and the NFC
