NFC Forum release adds digital car keys, wireless charging

The Near Field Communication (NFC) Forum announced Certification Release 13 (CR13) that, for the first time, adds certification for vehicle access using NFC. This is based on the use case developed by the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC). In addition, NFC wireless charging will also be available in the first quarter of 2022 as part of this release.
