Nicta signs deal with consumer and competition body to tackle complaints

Papua New Guinea's National Information and Communication Technology Authority (Nicta) and the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) have signed a partnership to address consumer issues including poor services. Nicta CEO Kila Gulo-Vui said the deal is an important step in Nicta's efforts to regulate the telecoms industry. The partnership runs for three years and sets out very clearly the areas of cooperation, Gulo-Vui said.
