NigComSat eyes 30% broadband penetration target

The Nigerian Communication Satellite (NigComSat) says is set to surpass its 30 percent broadband penetration target by December 2018 if public and private sector operators in the country key into its ongoing Ka-VSAT deployment, reports Vanguard. NigComSat CEO Abimbola Alale said added that a recent agreement with BelinterSat, operators of Nelintersat-1, of Belarus has also been signed for back up satellite.
