Niger prepares for DTT test transmissions in January

Niger will start migrating to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) this month, APA reported. The permanent secretary at the Ministry of Communication, Abdoulaye Coulibaly has supervised delivery of production and multiplex broadcast equipment to the state-run television and private press groups. This comprised fifteen ENG cameras, eighteen editing tables, a 165 KVA generator set, three pairs of moving beams, seventeen pairs of fixed beams, as well as four studios' equipment for radio.
