Nigeria court dismisses suit to revoke MTN licence and make it pay full fine

Nigeria High Court has dismissed a suit seeking an order to revoke MTN Nigeria's operating licence and another compelling it to pay the government NGN 1.04 trillion imposed by industry regulator NCC, CommunicationsWeek reported. The fine was for alleged violation of NCC law by wilful failure to disconnect all unregistered subscribers, as stipulated by the Communications Act.
