Nigeria extends SIM sale ban on MTN, Airtel, Glo

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has extended its ban on the sale of SIM cards by MTN, Airtel and Glo Nigeria, Biztech reported. The regulator did not say why it was extended or for how long. The ban was imposed in February for failing to meet key performance indicators (KPIs). Executive Commissioner for Stakeholders Management, Okwchukwu Itanyi, said the NCC will keep regulating the industry in a manner that will bring growth and consumer satisfaction.
