Nigeria govt agencies to switch to .ng domain

The Nigerian government is going to migrate every ministry, department and agency from their existing domain names to the top level domain .ng both for their websites and official emails, Vanguard reported online. Minister of Communications Technology Omobola Johnson said the aim is to bring all government IT activities to a single platform to help share facilities and information. She said that her ministry is working with Galaxy Backbone Limited, an agency under the ministry, to ensure a connected government. She said that the ministry would launch one of the biggest call centres in Nigeria
