Nigeria grants approval to OPay for money transfer services

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has granted approval to Opera's web payment platform OPay to start international money transfer services in the country, ThisDay reported. With the approval, OPay will start facilitating remittance business to business, business to person and person to person into Nigeria. The news comes after OPay raised USD 50 million from major venture capitalist some months ago.
