Nigeria House of Representatives ask Multichoice to suspend tariff hike

House of Representatives has directed Multichoice Nigeria to suspend the recent 15 percent rise in cable package prices with effect from 01 June, The Guardian reported. This follows the adoption of a motion in Parliament. The House mandated its Committee on implementation of pay-as-you-go (PAYG) plans to probe the issue and report back for further legislative action.
