Nigeria mobile internet base grows 13.6% in H1

The number of mobile internet users in Nigeria grew by 13.6 percent in the first half of 2015 to 92.6 million, according to the latest report from the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC). MTN Nigeria continues to lead this market segment, while Etisalat Nigeria added the most customers in period. According to the NCC data, Etisalat increased its mobile data subscriptions from 10 million in January to 15.2 million at the end of June, representing an increase of 5.2 million or 52 percent.
