Nigeria telecom firms add 3.56 mln mobile internet users in April, lose voice subscribers

Nigerian telecommunication operators added 3.56 million mobile internet users in April, according to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). The report shows that mobile internet users increased to 119.5 million from 115.9 million users in March. However, MTN, Globacom, Airtel, and 9Mobile lost 72,782 voice subscribers, as the figure dropped from 173.71 million in March to 173.64 million in April.
