Nigeria to review national broadband plan by April

The Nigerian government wants to begin its review of the National Broadband Plan (NBP) by April, The Guardian reports citing an unnamed ministry of communication official. The official said the ministry is keen on ensuring ubiquitous broadband in 2018 and beyond, especially as 2018 is the year of broadband. Nigeria is expected to meet 30 percent broadband penetration by the end of this year.
