Nigerian active phone lines rise by 3.18 million in October

The number of active telephone lines in Nigeria increased by 3.18 million to 165.24 million by 31 October from 162.06 million in September, statistics from the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) show. Of the 165.24 million active numbers, 164.86 million were mobile phone lines. The teledensity of the telecommunications industry in October was 118.03, an increase of 2.27 from 115.76 recorded in September.
