Nigerian agency ties up with UN to collect 300,000 tonnes of e-waste in Lagos

Nigeria's National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) is to collect over 300,000 tonnes of electronic waste in Lagos, the Daily Trust reported. This is part of a circular economy approach for the electronics sector. NESREA director-general Aliyu Jauro announced the scheme at a four-day training session for government regulators and the value chain.
