Nigerian Computer Society urges more domestic procurement

The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has urged the government to roll out, implement and monitor a local content policy to encourage ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) to patronise indigenous software and hardware, ITPulse reported. NCS, the umbrella body of all IT professionals in Nigeria, said this will encourage local innovators and improve the economy through job and wealth creation.
