Nigerian December active phone subscribers grow to 154.5 mln

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) says the number of active users of telecommunications services in the country increased to 154.53 million in December in 2016 from 153.95 million in November 2016. NCC says in its Monthly Subscriber/Operator Data show that active telecommunications service customers increased by 580,330 in November. It said 154.12 million of the users subscribed to the GSM services.
