Nigerian government targets 70% broadband penetration by 2021

The Nigerian government says it will strive to extend broadband penetration to 70 percent by 2021 using a USD 100 million loan from the government of India, reports the Daily Trust. Penetration is currently at 31.5 percent, mostly in urban areas, and the government said the loan would increase penetration to rural areas.
