Nigerian govt approves broadcasting equipment contracts

The Nigerian government has approved contracts amounting to USD 3.6 million to strengthen broadcasting stations for effective information dissemination, reports CommunicationsWeek. The media organisations that are set to benefit from the deals include the Federal Radio of Nigeria, News Agency of Nigeria and Nigeria Television Authority.
