Nigerian govt approves second phase of national fibre backbone

Nigeria's Federal Executive Council has approved plans for the second phase of the national backbone network project, called NIPTI 2, the Daily Trust reports. The Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu announced the decision after the FEC meeting presided over by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
