Nigerian govt collaborates with UK govt to reach 70% broadband penetration target by 2025

The Nigerian government is collaborating with the UK government on a fresh national broadband policy and aims to increase broadband penetration to 70 percent  by 2025, reports ITWeb. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim, has received the draft report of the National Broadband Plan Committee 2020-2025 and said this will serve as a guiding template for developing the sector and extending broadband coverage from the current 37.8 percent.
