Nigerian internet subscriptions rise in April from March but broadband penetration rate falls

The number of internet subscriptions recorded on mobile, fixed wired and VoIP networks increased to 138.7 million at the end of April from 136.20 million in March, according to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). The broadband penetration rate dropped to 39.58 percent from 39.90 per cent in March.
