Nigerian IXP, ICT Forum tie up to cut bandwidth cost

The Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) has entered into a partnership with the Nigerian ICT Forum of Partnership Institutions with the aim of cutting the cost of internet bandwidth and enabling inter-network connections between higher institutions of learning. IXPN MD Muhammed Rudman said the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) also sought to establish Research and Education Network (REN) clusters in the country.
