Nigerian mobile operators set up financial inclusion committee to run under ALTON

Glo, 9Mobile, Airtel, MTN and Ntel have set up the Telecommunications Financial Inclusion Committee and laid out a plan to improve financial literacy in Nigeria, reports the Nationalwire. This follows a meeting that they held a meeting in Septembers. The committee will operate under the auspices of the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON).
