Nigerian telcos ask banks to help secure USSD transaction channel

Nigerian operators providing the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) platform are requesting help from money deposit banks to secure the platforms against hackers, CommunicationsWeek reported. Banks are now using USSD code for their customers to make payments or transfer money. USSD messages create a live connection during a USSD session.
