Nigerian company Mega Tech is said to have placed an offer for Orange Kenya alongside Vietnamese firm Viettel's USD 120 million bid and another USD 185 million proposal by a UK consortium, the Business Daily reported, citing sources involved in the transaction. It said the discrepancy in the bidders' valuations reflects uncertainty over the ownership of land held by Orange Kenya, as well as employee claims filed in court.
