Nintendo maintains outlook as sales fall 10% in June quarter

Nintendo reported a slowdown in growth in its fiscal first quarter to June, after the exceptional results a year ago at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Revenues fell 9.9 percent to JPY 323 billion, operating profit was down 17.3 percent to JPY 120 billion, and net profit dropped 12.9 percent to JPY 93 billion in Q1.
