Nixu gains accreditation as 3-D Secure assessor under PCI SSC standard

Finnish cybersecurity company Nixu said it has become an assessor in the 3-D Secure (3DS) programme of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). Nixu said will now be qualified to perform assessments using the PCI 3DS Core Security Standard. 3-D Secure is an XML-based protocol designed to be an an extra authentication for web payments when using branded payment cards such as those issued by Visa and MasterCard.
